Each of us desires a greater manifestation of the presence of the Lord in our lives.
But what happens when his presence comes, and how will a greater manifestation of his presence affect our daily lives.
While in Prayer the Lord spoke to me and said, “that many have been fighting battles that were His to fight and that many of the struggles we were dealing with daily can be won by just allowing Him to Manifest.”
Let’s take a look at Psalm 68
” 1. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. 2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. 4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.”
These few verses give us a great insight into what happens to the spiritual climate when God Comes. So let’s look at some of the words David used to help us understand just how powerful God is and how His presence can change your situation in a minute.
The word “Arise” means to become clearer or confirm. So we can see his rising brings clarity and confirmation to areas that we need insight in. As Gods presence comes nearer, you are going to experience times of great clarity that is going to allow you to move and operate in greater realms of glory in your life. So with this said; how do we get God to come?
- He wants to! God as a Father has always desired to be with us. In the garden with Adam to Christ in US! We have to know this. A renewed mind understands this and has fully placed its confidence in His faithfulness and love. Nothing can separate us!
- God rises upon the Earth when we draw near to him. “Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:8 Never allow life or spiritual darkness to keep you from pursuing Him. He is the answer to your dilemma.
“Things Change When God Arises”
David understood that God was not only on his side, but He wanted to show up; and when He did, our enemies became unsettled and powerless to do us harm. “let his enemies be scattered” and His enemies are our enemies.
I love words! Let’s look at the words David used.
“Scattered” means to dash into pieces
- When he comes, His enemies break apart at His presence.
- His presence causes their alliances to break up.
- Their strategies will also break apart
“Haters Flee”: “let them also that hate him flee before him.” The word Flee means to vanish away
- Some haters are exiting your life; let them go!
- Their influence over you is broken.
- You will rise as He rises and fulfills your God Purpose
- As the wind blows smoke easily away; we will drive them, or push them to the side
- As a fire melts wax easily brush them aside and continue on
This tells me one thing: We spend entirely to much time on those that are against us!
“His Presence Brings Confusion To His Enemies”
“so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.” The word “Perish” means to wander away.
- Let those who despise the Lord’s presence just wander away with no clear direction. WOW
- They will just walk around messed up because of the Presence of the Lord that is on you.
Could it be that simple? Becoming so attractive to the Presence of the Lord that those that seek to destroy you walk around in a state of disorientation.
Verse 4 Righteous rejoice and Be Glad. We brighten up, become blithesome or full of glee. We Rejoice and jump because of joy
- Joy has come in such measure that our only response is to leap up and down in response of His Presence.
- This word Joy rejoice also means triumph. So as joy comes, our response is not just jumping and becoming full of joy, we actually triumph over our enemy in our joyful manifestation. Joy is also the response of a heart that lives and meditates from complete peace.
“But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.” This is a time when we are going from rejoicing to exceedingly rejoicing! You are going to enter another gear in your praise this year. A praise the raises you to spiritual realms that allows you to walk freely in your God purposes. So we have come from a place of becoming to being!
So take your focus off what’s against you and put your focus on the greater strength which is the Lord. Press into his presence invite him to come in greater manifestations in your life; see the things that are against you fade away because of his presence.
