I have never been more excited about the future of the Ekklesia (Church) than what I am now. Sons of God are awakening to the Kingdom Mandate to “possess the land” and bring regional transformation to the Body of Christ. While some are still embracing a culture, Apostolic Hubs are rising up to radically transform the regions they are positioned in. I heard the Lord say; “There will come a time when Sons of God will fully possess the Gates of the regions they are in. They will bind and loose with greater authority and effectiveness than ever before! They will set the atmosphere over regions; crushing sickness, disease, poverty, and challenging the mindsets of those who have become complacent”.
Transformation Brings the Power to Run
1 Kings 18:46 says that Elijah received the strength to “outrun” the chariot of Ahab all the way back to the Gates of the City: “And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” This is the strength and longevity possessed by these Hubs of Revival. They have been conditioned through Intercession and have the power to reach the Gates ahead of the enemy. These Apostolic Hubs contain the vision for the region and will release that vision into the cities they are in causing many of those that hear and see it to run with great strength leaving behind the bondage of the past. (Habakkuk 2:2)
Learning to Possess the Gates
The ability to possess the Gates is vital to the transformation of the areas in which we are assigned. Gates are literally the entry points for all activity coming into our assigned areas. This is where the battle begins and we through Intercession cleanse the land, repent for the wrongs done, tear down the structures of false worship, restoring true worship and God’s Heart into the region. The Holy Spirit is exposing the entry points of each region to His Intercessors. As this happens the atmosphere will begin to shift over each region destroying the strongholds of bondage that has governed for so long.

When Paul and Silas were thrown into prison I believe they had a great understanding of how possessing the Gates of the City could shift the mindsets of those living inside of them. In Acts 16 we see as they were ministering around the “Gate of the City” Paul and Silas were thrown into prison for casting a demon out of a woman that through demonic power created wealth for some that learned to use her gift. It was in the place of confinement that they shifted the atmosphere producing an earthquake that shook their prison cells loose. Not one prisoner left their cells!! We can see that Mindsets began to change and people began to do what was right! When the atmosphere shifted, the region was set free. As we learn to possess the Gates we will create an opportunity for those bound by the enemy to have the first clear thoughts they have had in many years and many will call upon the Name of the Lord!
