Over and over in my Spirit the last few months I have heard this phrase; “I am looking for one.”
In Ezekiel 22:30 we see God was looking throughout all of Humanity to find 1 person to Intercede for the Nation of Israel so He could forgo any judgment upon the land and people. “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it”
I feel very strongly in my Spirit that God is calling His Sons & Daughters into a greater realm of intercession that we have ever witnessed before. Jesus himself is an intercessor and “as He is, so are we in this world”. “Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him because he always lives to intercede for them.” Heb. 7:25 It has always been the heart of God as a Father to raise up 1 (or more) that will go against the flow, grab the plow and press through for those who cannot see their way to freedom.
When God was about to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because their Sins had reached the Heavens (Gen. 18); He appeared to a man named Abraham who had a heart for a people that did not believe like he did or live as he lived. Abraham stood in the Gap for a people that never knew he was pleading for their lives and would have ridiculed him if they would have known. The Father was looking for 1 that would lay his personal feelings aside and press into His heart for mankind. Are you that 1?
We are in a time of great contention and we must “contend for the faith”, and contend for those who cannot fight for themselves. This has to be done in the heavens, my friends. As the Holy Spirit works in and through our lives He will show us 2 things as we intercede; 1. What to bind and loose 2. And how to call the land and people back to their original intent. Hebrews 7:25 says that “he is able also to save them to the uttermost”; In other words; like they never did it! Do you see how Intercessors are vital to restoring the God intent back to the land and to its people?
The Father is equipping Intercessors to war on a new level this year and many will hear His voice; rise up and answer the call to intercession this year. Friends, God is continually moving, but this year He will be a year He will move in greater MANifestations because of the cry for awakening that is emerging from the land and its people. This year Intercessors will be the firebrands that will burn the dullness from the hearts of those in their assigned regions and call back the Father’s original purpose into the hearts of many. Answer the call. Be the One!
